Diet advice!

Question:

Hi Alex!

I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease about two years ago, and my diet has been a big problem for me. I was told to have a low salt diet, but other than that i have no ide what else. I have been told so many different things that I should or that I need to be eating. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of some foods that I should include/take out of my diet!

Thanks heaps!

Answer:

Hi there!

Im sorry to hear about your kidney disease. As this is quite a serious problem I would strongly suggest you book in to see a dietician. I am not palming you off at all-I honestly think seeing a professional, one on one for specific advice would help you immensely. Eating more whole foods like grains, vegetables and fruits and less processed and packaged foods is a great start for us all.
